Travis Scott x Jordan Jumpman Jack 'Mocha'
At first glance, this colorway reminded me of Travis' OG lows, which is my favorite cw of his lows that he's worked on. Even from a material standpoint, these are very similar in quality to the og pair, but they swapped the nubuck with canvas. The JJ (T-Rexx) is prolly my favorite model he collaborates on, but I also like air trainers a lot so I'm kinda biased lol.
Materials: the panels on the upper have a premium š¤ nubuck that feels pretty nice to touch & has a good color change as you brush across it. Underneath the panels is š¤ canvas, that should wear pretty nicely as they age. On the reverse swoosh & tongue, there's a tough, š¤ suede that almost looks like a scrunched/rough fabric to an extent (it's really tough to explain lol, but it's dope). Moving to the back heel, you'll see Travis' face logo embroidered in š¤. Then, moving to the strap, there's more of that premium š¤ nubuck with a raised & embroidered logo (if you know what this is, lmk). As for branding, you'll find a co-branded Jumpman logo w/ the 3 lines above the head on the tongue & on the insoles. & Lastly, on the bottoms of the outsole, you'll see the word 'JACK' that fades away as you wear them, followed by a š¤ cracked glass pattern beneath it. Overall, I feel like the materials used were pretty nice & the colorway works really well too.
Comfort/Sizing: The JJ feels similar to air trainers on foot & also have a nice arch support too. They feel low to the ground, but have a subtle supportive feeling on foot. For sizing, I got these in my tts & would recommend the same.
Overall Opinion: like I said previously, these reminded me a lot of his og low, which is my favorite colorway he's done, so I'm a little biased on this colorway. I have really enjoyed his new models he's been designing & I personally think they look great on feet too. Out of his recent designs these prolly are number 2 from the 3 he's done, with the red swoosh being my favorite. If you're looking to pick up a pair of these, they're only available in the aftermarket.
